This President Right HERE!
Back on Sept. 29th we had the first 2020 Presidential Debate. It brought no joy and no victory, no matter what side of the argument you’re on. We lost as a country, that’s if you believe in a sane, safe and democratic America. Yet what it did do is reinforce what many have known for almost four years that the person in the White House is not the one for the job.
Now it’s time for the final U.S. Presidential debate and many of us are already voting. If you’re undecided or just not moved to use your voting rights that many fought and some died for you may need some motivation. So here we go! Let’s explore the resume of the person who is now running the nation you call home. These are just some of the things that have been shared, often by him, before and during his presidency.
Way back in 1973 he and his father settled a housing discrimination lawsuit with the federal government because Blacks were not allowed to rent at one of his family’s properties. In 1990, when he built the Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City he neglected to pay contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, window installers and other craftsmen. Triad Building Specialties, the firm he hired, took out a loan to pay the workers. Eventually he hit them back with junk bonds that converted to 40 cents on the dollar.
At around the same time (the 70’s) his long list of alleged sexual assaults, harassment and even rapes of women began and continued into the 2000's with 25 women eventually going public. Yet in October 2019, the book All the President’s Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator was published containing 43 additional allegations of sexual misconduct against him. He is currently using taxpayer dollars for his defense against a defamation case initiated by E. Jean Carroll who alleges that he raped her. Yet he has stated that these are obviously all lies. Despite the huge number of women, similar to another elderly celebrity who is currently serving prison time for rape and was once dubbed America’s Dad, why would we not believe the White House resident? I mean he does not lie to the citizens or publicly act crudely. Well, there was that time while he was campaigning for the presidency in 2016 that he shared with Billy Bush (then of NBC’s “Access Hollywood”) on a live mic how he pursues women.
“I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab ’em by the pussy.”
There’s also the $130,000 in hush money taken from campaign finances by Michael Cohen (his former attorney who was later indicted) and paid to porn star Stormy Daniels to cover up an affair the “Law & Order President” had with her in 2006 reportedly months after Melania Trump gave birth to Barron.
This is the same man who attacked the character of the exonerated Central Park Five and challenged the legitimacy of President Barack Obama’s American citizenship. After becoming president this great man settled a $25M lawsuit for duping students of his Trump University, which offered courses in asset management, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation from 2005 until 2010. The company became the subject of an inquiry by the New York Attorney General’s Office in 2011 for illegal business operations, fraud, misleading marketing and aggressive sales tactics, which resulted in multiple lawsuits and student complaints. Trump settled a total of three federal lawsuits in November 2016 despite previously stating he would not settle.
One could also add to his misachievments inciting violence across the nation. It may have started at his 2016 campaign rallies in places like Kentucky where the red-capped leader would urge his followers to remove protesters like this.
“Get him out. Try not to hurt him. If you do I’ll defend you in court. … Are Trump rallies the most fun? We’re having a good time.”
There were more than a few times that racial slurs were reportedly hurled and punches thrown like in the case of Rakeem Jones who was famously sucker-punched by James Franklin McGraw at a North Carolina rally. In his current presidential campaign rallies, women seem to be the target of his outrage with his followers urged on in chanting “Lock her up” as in the case of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, whose kidnapping was thwarted just a day before by the FBI. It was motivated by her stance on COVID safety rules rejected by the White House resident. Of course, now that he has the use of law enforcement and the National Guard he has been more than happy to deploy them especially to stamp out Black Lives Matter protests, which he refers to as a symbol of hate.
Have you heard enough. I’ve probably written too much. If you are not moved to vote by this level of toxic behavior than you probably need to do your own soul cleansing.
But I’ll leave you with this to think on; $750 in taxes; On Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2020 during the first debate, he ordered,
“Proud boys, stand back, stand by!” but on Wednesday the 29th, “I don’t know who the Proud Boys are. You’ll have to give me a definition because I really don’t know who they are. I can only say they have to stand down and let law enforcement do their work.”
In a recorded interview with Bob Woodward (of Watergate) he admitted to purposely downplaying the danger of the Coronavirus in February 2020.
“It goes through air, Bob. That’s always tougher than the touch. You know, the touch — you don’t have to touch things, right? But the air, you just breathe the air. That’s how it’s passed. And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than your — you know, your — even your strenuous flus.” Yet at the same time he told the American people, “It’s going to disappear one day. It’s like a miracle. It will disappear.”
It seems that the President is a lot like the virus and it’s time for that miracle.
